It is heartening to see that our Association, The Pakistan Orthopaedic Association is keeping up its pace with the developments across the world.
I am delighted that we are organizing our 30th Orthocon in keeping up with our mission of providing quality Orthopaedic care to our patients.
The Organizing Committee from Hyderabad, under the leadership of Prof.
Gulzar is working very hard to ensure that the high standards set by the previous meeting are not only met but surpassed.
The Theme – Musculoskeletal Trauma, New trends, in itself reflects the realization and commitments by the Orthopaedic community in Pakistan towards focused Research and Development in this ever expanding and demanding field.In keeping with last 2 year’s precedent, all papers submitted for Presentations were accepted after submission of full manuscript, and thorough Peer Review.
This is followed by their publication in Journal of Pakistan Medical Association (JPMA) – an Indexed journal.
This in itself is a huge success.
The Social Program for families includes Outings, sightseeing and social evenings and Gala dinner.
It promises to entertain and reflect the strong local culture to the participants and their families.
I sincerely hope, this will be one of the best and memorable conferences in the history of POA.
